Schedule a viewing with the landlord on any rental site. Log in to Renvfy, add the property details, date, and time. Get notified when a local Viewer confirms your booking.

A video call from the property
A Renvfy Viewer will visit the property at the scheduled time. Host a live video call with you. You’ll get a live walk-through so you can verify the information.
Three
Upload pictures
After the live video, the viewer will capture photos of the apartment’s features. Photos will be uploaded to the website for easy reference during your rental journey.

Is it really Free for a limited time ?
Yes, we are a startup company, and we are offering the service for free for a limited time as we are still testing the system.
This free offer will only be available for a short time and will soon become a paid service once we complete our testing phase.

How does Renvfy help you identify rental fraud?
Rental frauds often happen in three ways:
- Landlords use old or misleading photos.
- Scammers post fake ads for properties that don’t exist.
- Current tenants advertise and rent out a property without the landlord’s knowledge, take your money, and disappear.
The best way to avoid these scams is by visiting the property in person before signing anything. But what if you’re far away, maybe in another province or country? That’s where Renvfy steps in!
If you don’t have friends or family nearby to check the property for you, you can book a local viewer through Renvfy. Our viewers will visit the property at the scheduled time, give you a live video tour, and answer your questions. Afterward, they’ll upload pictures of key features to help you decide if the property is as advertised.
This way, you can make an informed decision before committing to anything.
Is Renvfy available worldwide?
Not yet! Renvfy is currently available in Ontario and Alberta, Canada. We’re planning to expand across Canada, North America, and eventually worldwide.
What happens if the landlord doesn’t show up for the appointment?
If the landlord doesn’t show up, the viewer will let you know and try to gather some information from people at the property (if possible). This could even be a red flag for a scam!
If it’s just a scheduling issue, you can work with the landlord to set up another appointment. While we can’t refund your fee in this case (as we still pay the viewer for their time), we might offer a discount for your next appointment.
Can I rely solely on the viewer’s opinion to decide on renting the property?
The viewer’s feedback is meant to help you make an informed decision. Think of it like advice from a friend, not an expert assessment.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to one hour before the appointment for a full refund. For cancellations within the last hour, we’ll refund half the fee.
